As we all shake our collective heads in wonder that Christmas Day is nearly here, let’s look back and forward to 2011 and what we can expect in 2012.
Wolflin Village had a tremendous year in 2011. New faces appeared in merchant doorways and the loyal customers returned, excited as always to view new items, new merchants and with an internal wink and a nod, reminded themselves what a difference great customer service and unique shopping experience they have found.
In 2011, Wolflin Village launched their website, supported the Harrington Cancer Center during Spring Fling and closed the year with an incredible Open House.
In 2012, Wolflin Village will continue to attract new customers from the High Plains, support community projects and demonstrate why they are Amarillo’s premier shopping destination.

From my experience in the men’s formal wear business I have found that if you do not plan to wear a tuxedo 4 times in the next 2 years it will cost you more to purchase a tuxedo than to rent one. I like to use a little humor when I tell my customers tuxedos have a tendency to shrink in the closet if not warn often. The price for buying a complete tuxedo, everything besides socks and underwear, will cost you around $450 to over a thousand. That will just get you one style so I hope you like black.
With life comes change and it usually results in a few extra pounds on the waist line and when this happens your tuxedo doesn’t seem to fit like it use to. Now your stuck wearing it cause you trying to still justify the retail price you paid while looking a little uncomfortable stuffed into a jacket that’s a little to small. Let us say that you are someone who stays the same size and never changes so you decide to purchase a tuxedo. You wear it once, love it, and put it back into the closet just anticipating the next time you can put it on and go out. Do not worry this time my come 5, 6, or even 7 years later, you go to wear it and the bright white shirt has yellowed, styles have changed. Now you paid $250-$500 each time you wore it. I would recommend for most customers to rent a tuxedo unless you know that you will wear it enough times for it to pay for itself four times, which is about the break-even point.
